As the CAD part in the software’s name points out, rattleCAD is a CAD software that will help you with your computer aided design tasks. The interesting thing about rattleCAD is that it focuses on a particular type of computer aided design: designing bicycles. So if you need a CAD tool that will help you create bespoke bicycle frames, you’re very well advised to give rattleCAD a try.

rattleCAD does not have to be installed. To get started with this CAD tool you must download an archive, extract its contents, and then run either the rattleCAD .bat or the rattleCAD .exe. rattleCAD will launch when you do so and it will load a sample bicycle design on its interface (more bicycle design projects are available online on rattleCAD's website).

Speaking about the interface, you won’t have to go through a steep learning curve to get accustomed to it. When you’re done with your design, you can export it as PDF, HTML, SVG, DXF, PS.
